Such a work force is overseen by a Human Resource Department, which is located at the Corporate Headquarters at Mumbai.

Recruitment

Recruitment is being done on the basis of a pre-interview written encounter and a personal interview. The recruitment process is decentralized and is mainly conducted at the five metro cities in India and a few other major establishments under the umbrella of the organization.

Training and Development

All recruits into the company are subject to training involving hands-on, practical on-the-job and/or theoretical training, tailored to the job profile of the person concerned.

Technical and soft skill training is undertaken at the field level and at our well appointed Training Center at Karjat (Maharashtra). The Karjat Training Center (KTC) is a residential facility, located near the banks of the Ulhas river. The Center has an air-conditioned training room fully equipped with all facilities for round the year training. KTC is the venue for various staff training programmes and has also played host to regular batches of trainees from PCI's overseas associates.

The training is conducted by the Technical & Training Division. A team of in-house technical and soft skill trainers, with the assistance of consultants, is available for the regular induction training and refresher courses that are conducted. Training for management development and orientation are also undertaken with the help of an in-house management consultant.
